In the 21st century, technology has grown to be an increasingly important part of our lives. From social media to online banking and shopping, technology is now a large and integral factor in the way people around the world choose to live.
However, with the numerous benefits increased technological interdependence brings, there are also negative aspects that stem from a lack of education. Be Technology Wise (BTW) is an initiative by Sri Lanka’s premier telecommunications service provider, spearheaded by Dialog Sustainability, that attempts to educate the general public on the responsible usage of digital services and facilities while raising awareness on modern digital enablers.
The tri-lingual campaign will cover thirteen key messages ranging from proper smartphone etiquette, the importance of privacy online and internet safety among others and will be disseminated via social media, online portals and merchandise. This campaign is in line with Dialog Axiata PLC’s continuous dedication to transforming lives via digital services.”
